Welcome to Heartland Lab Rescue! 
With the overwhelming popularity of the Labrador retriever breed, it is no surprise that there are more labs to rescue than most other breeds. Heartland Lab Rescue, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization serving Oklahoma and Kansas.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! One of the most important components of rescuing these wonderful dogs is our foster homes. We are often not able to save dogs simply because we do not have a foster home to put them in until their forever home is found. Foster families are provided with food, all necessary medical care and a crate. You can offer your home to foster a dog all year long or as your schedule allows. It is also a great way for children in a family to be a part of volunteering and giving back to the community.
