Adopt A Senior

Senior pets are often overlooked, but they can actually make the very best pets! They already know the rules, are housebroken, laid-back but are still eager to please and learn more. Seniors are playful, easy-going, and ready to fit into your family and love you. Adopt a senior pet and find a friend that is ready to fit in to your life right away. They will love you for it!

Heartland Lab Rescue has several senior labs. Check out Ginger, Linda, and Sydney, elite members of the Heartland family.

Kenny

It is with a heavy heart that we said goodbye to Kenny this month as he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Kenny was a big boy with a heart as big as he was. He was a lovable guy who loved everyone, human and furry. He spent his days with us over the last year in the homes of two of our best fosters, Nicole and Diane. It is comforting to know that he fully enjoyed his last days on earth knowing companionship and love with caring humans and fellow furry friends.
